Extensions
Extensions are a huge mess, to install them you need to:
- use a distro which ships Firefox unsandboxed
- have the Firefox shell extension add-on installed unsandboxed
- know you have to visit https://extensions.gnome.org/
- certainly not use a sandboxed version of Firefox
- certainly not use any other browser, not even GNOME's own web browser Web
That's an absolutely huge mess by 2020's standards, what about having an app called Extensions, which would let you install and configure extensions? We would host it on Flathub, and retire https://extensions.gnome.org/ by making it redirect to the app's Flathub page.
