In Meld 3.20 and earlier, I could select several files, then open a comparison window for each of them by either (a) pressing the Compare button, or (b) right-clicking and choosing Compare.
In Meld 3.22, neither of these methods work. The Compare button is gone, and if I select several files and right-click, then as soon as I right click only one of them becomes selected.
So it seems there's no way that I can open several comparison windows at once. That's a problem for me, since very often I type "meld ." to see a list of changes I've made in the current directory, and then want to open a comparison window for each file that has changed. So I think I'll have to go back to Meld 3.20 for the time being.
I was just burned by this too. Yes, I agree this is a significant problem.
I'm running Geary built from git mainline on Ubuntu 21.04.

Unfortunately I'm now seeing this again whenever I attempt to fetch messages from my Gmail account. The error message is slightly different than I described before:

Mysteriously, this has started working again and I don't know why. Perhaps it was a transient problem with my Gmail account. I'll close this bug now, and will reopen if I see this again.

It would be nice to have a shortcut key for making fixed-width text in the composer.
Currently I do this via the "Change font type" dropdown in the toolbar at the bottom of the composer window, however a shortcut would be convenient since I do this all the time.

I just tried building Geary from git mainline with Vala 0.48.17, and it failed:

Compilation failed: 3 error(s), 0 warning(s)
[412/682] Compiling Vala source src/en...bprojects/vala-unit/vala-unit-1.0.vapi

Then I upgraded to Vala 0.52.3, and the build worked fine.
Geary's meson.build
requests a minimum Vala version of 0.48.11:
target_vala = '0.48.11'
I think that needs to be updated to something newer.
