**Feature request**
I would like to be able to scroll in radio streams when the stream supports it!
Shortwave already supports HLS streams in m3u8.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/HTTP_Live_Streaming
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/M3U#M3U8
**Example**
As can be seen in the screenshot below it is possible to scroll within the last 30 minutes in the web player of the Danish broadcaster DR.
Similar feature would be great to have in Shortwave!
**Link**: https://www.dr.dk/lyd (Simply click on one of the radio channels P1 - P8 in the top of the page to launch the web player)
**Stream link**: https://drliveradio.akamaized.net/hls/live/2022411-b/p1/playlist-320000.m3u8 (Plays back fine in Shortwave; we only lack stream seeking support / e.g. a scrollbar)
The content inside the stream file is updated all the time, because new segments get into the stream file as time progresses and the oldest segments get removed (so there is always 30 minutes of segments).
Sample from the start of the file - each segment is 6 seconds of audio:

I spend much more time selecting a radio station for it to play back a stream than I spend on clicking to see the meta data information about a station. (The extra window that shows the info about the radio station e.g. data from https://www.radio-browser.info/ )
**Feature request**
Change the design of the radio station buttons so that:
1) The play button inside the (big) button is exchanged (permanently) with an information ℹ button with the functionality to bring forward that extra window with the meta data.
2) The functionality of the big button is changed to start the playback of a station.
It makes it easier to "hit" the radio station for playback when you as a user rather want music than information.

It would be great if one can pause station playing, not just stop. It often happen I'd like to pause what I'm listening, and be able to continue where I paused.
That means shortwave should internally start recording the current station, then on unpause, play what is recorded instead of the live stream. The duration would be limited to something reasonable in order to not record a station for weeks. There would be an indication on how late we are with respect to the live stream. And there would be a 'back to live' button that would restore the normal live mode.https://gitlab.gnome.org/World/Shortwave/-/issues/535Layout/useability request - click on station should start playback, not show ...2021-11-20T14:48:34ZilippertLayout/useability request - click on station should start playback, not show info about stationIssue: clicking on a station does not start playback.
