The label of the personal folder icon is the basename of the directory, instead of "Home"
📦 Version and System
Debian testing (Buster), GNOME Shell 3.30.2-9, gnome-shell-extension-desktop-icons 19.01.1-1
📜 Description of the Issue
With an older GNOME and Nautilus managing the desktop, the personal folder icon would be labelled "Home" in an English session, and be localized, e.g. to "Dossier personnel" in French, which expressed clearly what this icon was about: it's the name of a place.
OTOH with Desktop Icons, the label of said icon is the basename of the directory, which is usually the name of the logged in user, which is a rather opaque way to communicate to the user what this icon is about. I mean, as a user, what am I expected to happen if I click on my own name? :)
