Strange touch scrolling issue (acts as if I'm scrolling the entire VNC display?)
I just tried out Remotely 1.0, installed from Flathub on an Arch Linux tablet. I used it to connect to a TightVNC server running on a Windows machine.
I noticed a very strange issue with my touch input, and it's going to be a bit difficult for me to describe. Let's say for example that I want to select some text in my browser window. If I press and drag downwards over the text, I would expect it to simply be selected, just the same as if I clicked and dragged over it with a mouse. Instead, what happens is that I see a shadow appear at the very top and/or bottom of the display in the Remotely window. This is the kind of effect that you sometimes see in other applications when touch scrolling, to indicate that you've scrolled as far as you can go and that you can't scroll any further. In other words, it's like my touch input is trying to scroll the Remotely window itself, rather than sending the input to the remote machine.
I can work around this issue by pressing and holding for several seconds, and then dragging my finger. When I do that, it selects the text on the remote machine as expected.
For comparison, I tried the same thing in GNOME Boxes and it works as expected there.
