Dock on the Desktop

GNOME has a Dock, it's already present in Activities, but for some reason it's only there 🤷, today no way to make it visible on the desktop, which is strange. So, I decided to design a mockup of how the dock on the desktop could look like.

Dock should be smart, otherwise it can irritate, so it may have new features.

  • Two dots indicator shows that opened several of the same application.
  • Minimizing apps by clicking on the app icon.
  • When you maximize an app, the dock will hide.

Frame_Full

There is a question, how to minimize and maximize if several of the same applications are open?
