Ctrl+f shortcut does not have the same behavior among applications
I noticed this while hacking on Music. There are two different behaviors among GNOME applications.
On the first ctrl+f
keypress, the searchbar is displayed. The difference occurs on the second keypress. Either it hides the searchbar or it gives back the focus to the searchbar.
For example:
- hide the searchbar: Music, Photos, Files
- get focus: Evince, Builder
On all applications, you can dismiss the searchbar by pressing the escape
key.
Is there supposed to be some default behavior? I have not been able to find some documentation or guideline. For example, there is no mention of it on the Keyborard Shortcuts page.
