Videos: playing back audio-only streams
While Videos is meant to play back video files, there are certain cases where it's being picked p as a handler for audio only streams:
- file without a video track, eg. a sound or music file being played. iOS shows a transparent (not black) screen in this case, which comes out as "interface gray". Older versions of quicktime shows a flattened quicktime icon, older versions of iOS showed a flat audio icon.
- file with an unsupported video track. iOS will simply ignore the video track. totem will likely want to show an error which brings us to...
- playback error. iOS shows a play icon with a slash across it. totem will also want to have a space to show a human readable error message explaining the problem, but which doesn't use a popup dialogue.
