GUADEC 2019 preparation
There are a number of things that the board has historically done to prepare for GUADEC. The first thing to do is clarify who is going to do what.
Board In-Person Meeting

Confirm time and location, share with the board and add to the wiki page (staff) -
Draft agenda (new president and/or chair?) -
Do any necessary preparation for any agenda topics (new president and/or chair?)
Advisory Board Meeting
This somewhat depends on the format of the meeting. In the past we've done presentations, so these are listed below, but it would be good to have confirmation from @nmcgovern on what the plan is.

Prepare the slide deck (staff) -
President's report (president) -
Treasurer's report (treasurer with staff assistance)
AGM

Reach out to committee and team leads, to invite them to speak during the team reports, and get them to provide slides -
Agree running order, who is going to MC (board) -
Get up-to-date lists of committee members, to present (?) -
Someone needs to give a Foundation report (the president?) -
Treasurer needs to give a report (treasurer, with staff assistance) -
Create the slide deck, including the committee and team sections (the one from 2018 is in Nextcloud, as a reference) (?) -
Pants award - need to decide who to give it to; in the past we've asked the community for nominations (?)
