Resolution: Appoint Interim Executive DIrector

WHEREAS, the current Foundation Executive Director has provided the Board with notice of intent to resign upon identification of an interim Executive Director, and

WHEREAS, the Board has reviewed potential candidates for an Interim Executive Director from the pool of past applicants under consideration during the search for Executive Director in 2023, and

WHEREAS, the Board has identified a suitable candidate from among these individuals, consulted with that candidate, and determine this person is qualified, willing, and able to serve effectively immediately,

NOW, THEREFORE, the Board authorizes the President to make an offer of employment to the named candidate for the role of Interim Executive Director, including start date, compensation, and duration of no greater than three (3) months, and

THEREFORE, the Board further extends its gratitude to the outgoing Executive Director for her service to the Foundation and GNOME Project community.
