Description
In a similar vein to bug #742464
There are power users out there that have no idea the GNOME3 extensions system exists, which causes needless pain. I can't really fault them because this isn't actually announced anywhere (not in the UI, not the user manual, and not even on the main GNOME website!).
Indeed, http://www.gnome.org/gnome-3/ has no mention of extensions whatsoever, and yet it's one of the killer features of GNOME Shell and GNOME 3. It helps users transition to and beyond the standard GNOME Shell experience.
I would highly recommend we have a section titled "Endlessly customizable" (or something like that), with some clever paragraph to go with it. I'll be happy to edit the website to add this if someone can help me draft the wording.
