Description
On this page of the web site(please add web site as a component)

Geek speak confuses everyone - see Installation near bottom
I love programing code but I don't speak it to program users. Referencing the above page just what is.....
"You install the new version into a separate prefix, say /opt/gimp-2.8 by passing --prefix=/opt/gimp-2.8 to the configure script. Then, in order to run the binary installed there, you change your environment to look for executables in /opt/gimp-2.8/bin by setting PATH=/opt/gimp-2.8/bin and you tell your linker to pick up libraries from /opt/gimp-2.8/lib by setting LD_LIBRARY_PATH=/opt/gimp-2.8/lib. Do not forget to export both variables."
...in plain English and all other languages. What is a prefix? Don't reply with a definition. I don't want to read it. I'm in a big hurry. I do many differnt projects.
Use phrases and words your target customers use everyday. Downloaders are customers. Artists are artists not deveopers like you and me.
How about using Path or Directory path or folder path?
NEXT... The Installation instructions and discussion should be at the top or in a clearly marked Linked page. New and over-caffeinated users should be able to understand that. You can always add links to discussion of why an algorithm will reduce rendering time by .05% better than another elsewhere.
NEXT.... I'm visiting Jernej Simončič Windows installer page which has been banished to the outer provinces. It must be cold in the winter there.
Thank you for your work.
Cheers.
