Restore basic ftpadmin e-mail notification functionality for downstreams
There have been 3 downstream packagers (including myself) wondering about ftp-release-list functionality to track things better.
Until things move away from ftpadmin install
usage, I would propose the following for the time being while not needing a mailing list:
Have the ftpadmin script e-mail an e-mail alias into which individual downstream maintainers can ask to be listed on to get the mails.
This way there's no need for maintaining a mailing list, postfix or other used e-mail tooling should easily support this already and that's all that's really needed at least for me as a downstream packager. There's really no need for a mailing list archive of automated e-mails that the mailing list provided - one can just go and look what release tarballs are there for a given package for that use case.
