Allow changing mail address for merge requests
Not sure if that's something we have under control or if it's a GitLab bug, so, sorry if not.
Just merged my first merge request through GitLab's WebUI and I noticed that it used my private mail address and not my GNOME alias for the merge commit. That's not so great because I don't like my private address being passed around too much and use the alias to automatically filter mails.
Both (private and GNOME) addresses are registered in my GitLab profile. But while switching notification mails to my alias worked, GitLab seems to insist on using the "primary address", which is unchangeable (probably due to LDAP).
So, to avoid my private address showing up in merge requests I currently have to merge them manually via the command line. This works to some degree (it updates and resolves the MR instantly when you push it) but seems to have trouble referencing the commit afterwards (see GNOME/eog!1 (merged))
