Add accurate information on why an email was sent
Bugzilla provides the very useful header which includes information on why the email was sent. I used this to separate out "bulk" emails where I was subscribed to e.g. GTK+ but didn't actually need to act on the mail (just throwing them away would be reasonable). At the same time, if there is a GTK+ bug that I am explicitly watching (or was being mentioned) then I need to act upon the email and I would like to sort it into my "main" bugs folder.
I could not find a way to do something similar on gitlab.
Ideas to solve this:
- Add a
X-GitLab-Reason
with a set of values likewatch-product
,watch-issue
,metioned
. - Change the generic "
You're receiving this email because of your account on gitlab.gnome.org.
" to mention the reason for the email (having an account is not really a reason for a bug mail).
