No easy way to get hyperlink text in addition to URI

let's you easily get the URI of a hyperlink on click. It would be great if there were an easy way to get the printed text of the hyperlink as well.
Motivation Some of the security mitigations mentioned in the OSC 8 Gist are to "let the user know the URI upfront" or to open links "only on some more complex user action such as Ctrl+click or via the right-click menu". When a user Ctrl+clicks a link, I want to be able to check whether the URI is exactly the same as the printed text, and if so, open it right away, since they already know what they are opening. Otherwise, I'd show them a warning that the URI target is different from the printed text, particularly if the printed text also looks like a URI.
