Vala on Windows: Gee etc.
This page lists some packages to install to get Vala working on Windows
https://wiki.gnome.org/Projects/Vala/ValaOnWindows
However, the tutorial and other examples often use the Gee library so wouldn't it make sense to add the pacman
install line for Gee as an optional addition?
Similarly when I try to build some examples, e.g., https://github.com/vala-lang/valadoc-org/blob/master/examples/gtk%2B-3.0/Gtk.Viewport.vala and https://github.com/vala-lang/valadoc-org/blob/master/examples/gtk%2B-3.0/Gtk.IconView.vala although both build and run perfectly on Linux both fail on Windows: https://discourse.gnome.org/t/learner-having-problem-with-hello-gtk-eg/3890/4?u=mark
Again, surely the ValaOnWindows should at least provide some information on how to get a usable environment for creating Gtk applications (even if marked as optional or for GUI programmers).
