Rename the SPARQL layer and make it a separate project
There are several reasons to rename libtracker-sparql:
- negative connotations around the concept of a 'tracker'
- it's a standalone sparql database that is not really tied to the filesystem indexer and search engine provided by
tracker-miner-fs
Name ideas, focusing on the small (<2MB) footprint compared to other SPARQL stores like Jena and virtuoso:
- SPARQLite (checking with SQLite developers, may not be an option)
- tinysparql
- tinygraph
- tinystore
- minisparql (https://github.com/lilspikey/mini-sparql)
- microsparql
- picosparql
- gsparql
- tquery
I'm not sure if including 'sparql' in the name is a great idea or not, it does make the project easy to find, but its a long acronym and ties the project to a specific query language. (Although perhaps that is for the best).
