Give user a way to prevent some files from being displayed in the Recent files place (for privacy concerns)
Hi,
I'm using Debian GNOME 3.30 and I've found no way to prevent some files from being display in the Nautilus Recent files place.
GNOME Settings allow user to prevent some files from being search by listing corresponding folders, which is OK for search, but I miss something similar for Recent files indexation.
I think we can assume that if the user doesn't want some files to be searched for privacy reasons, he also doesn't want these files to appear in Recent files list. Therefore I think there is no need to add a distinct setting, we just need to extend the existing setting concerning Search, so that when a folder is black listed for search, it is also black listed for being displayed in Recent files list.
Thanks !
PS : I report this bug against Tracker, but maybe it's more a Nautilus or GNOME Settings bug. Please tell me if so.
