Constant high CPU usage
Hi! I already submitted a bug report on the fedora bugtracker (ID 2278649) and was redirected here. I will just copy-paste what I already submitted over there.
After recently upgrading to fedora 40, I noticed high CPU temperatures. After checking system monitor, it turned out that the process "tracker-miner-fs-3 (version 3.7.1)" was using a lot of CPU resources and not stopping. I made a post on the fedora forums as well: post
Reproducible: Yes
Actual Results:
Constant high CPU usage
Expected Results:
Maybe short CPU spikes; Normal CPU Temperatures and CPU usage by the tracker-miner-fs-3 process
I "fixed" this by restarting the service with the command systemctl --user restart tracker-miner-fs-3.service
. The process started up again and did not constantly use a lot of CPU.
