Flatpak saves screenshots to inaccessible tmpfs
Steps to reproduce
- Install Totem from Flathub
- In a terminal, run
flatpak run --command=bash org.gnome.Totem
- Play a video
- Open the kebab menu and choose Take a screenshot
One of the following mutually-exclusive possibilities:
- I am prompted for where to save the screenshot
- The screenshot is saved to a sensible, persistent location
The screenshot is saved to what the Flatpak believes to be my home directory. Unfortunately, this is actually a private tmpfs, because the Flatpak actually only has access to xdg-download, xdg-videos and whatever files the user has opened via the portal.
You can check this by running
ls in the terminal from which you launched Totem.
