Never ending "writing metadata to files" after updating to version 0.32
On 6.1.12-gentoo Shotwell 0.32.0 (built from gentoo package)
The expected behaviour
Launching Shotwell, having it scan for new files as usual then be ready for normal use.
What was actually happening
Shotwell 'writes metadata to files' forever (more than 30min and counting) and is very sluggish when used while this happen. Launched with logging enabled I have got a lot of events relative to writing metadata (attempting and failing or succeeding) up to now shotwell reports having already written metadata to 4302 files ... even though I did no changed anything.
Steps to reproduce the issue
Updating from version 0.31 to 0.32 and re opening Shotwell
PS :
After updating at first I had several messages like :
GLib-GIO-ERROR **: 12:21:58.574: Settings schema 'org.gnome.shotwell.plugins.enable-state' does not contain a key named 'publishing-facebook'
and shotwell not launching.
I fixed the problem using the solution given here :

Maybe this have something to do with what I encounter now ...
