Shotwell loading screen stuck at 99%
Shotwell won’t start: the percentage quickly moves up to 99% and hangs there. I waited a full night with no luck. If I try to move the loading screen, Gnome reports that the program hangs and asks me if I want to kill it.
I have just changed my computer for a new one. I copied my .local/share/shotwell
directory as suggested here. All my pictures are still in the same location (I just moved the hard drive to my new machine and put the same mount location). Shotwell started once, but wont start since.
I tried versions 0.30.16-1 and 0.30.11-1 which are in Debian testing and stable respectively. I don’t know if it’s worth mentioning but my library is quite big (263 826 files, 3,8 TB). I can browse the sqlite database properly, it doesn’t seem corrupted.
The logs don’t seem to provide much useful information.
Any help would be appreciated.
