Original description:
Let's say you went on a trip spanning a couple of months. You merge the "events" into a single "Trip to Mars" event, but in the event overview now you see something like "Fri 9 - Mon 8 March 2012".
Instead, "January 9 - March 8, 2012" would be a more helpful notation.

I can't reproduce this. On my machine, event ranges show both months, e.g.
Fri Sep 23 - Sun Oct 2, 2011
What operating system and Shotwell version are you running?

This is 0.10.1 on Fedora 16.

@ Jeff
Shotwell 0.10.1 is an older version of Shotwell. The current version of Shotwell is 0.11.6. Does upgrading to the latest version solve your problem? Instructions for building and installing the latest version of Shotwell are available here:www.yorba.org/shotwell/install/

Well, I just tried 0.11.6 and it exhibits the same behavior. Proof of my non- craziness attached.

- Priority changed from Low to High
- Target version set to 0.12
We've been able to reproduce this error on the French version on Shotwell (it does not occur on the English version).
You're not crazy, Jeff!
