Searchable id: yorba-bug-3933
Original author: Adam Dingle
Original description:
In the Faces dialog, the name of each face (at least on Ubuntu Oneiric) is displayed in a fixed-width font. This looks techie and is relatively hard to read. Let's use a variable-width font instead.

The fixed width font is actually a hack to prevent an even uglier problem where the faces window hysterically resizes itself. I don't know if we'll get to this in the 0.11 cycle.

Hi!
I attach a simple patch that removes monospace attribute to that font and instead it assigns a max width of chars to the face-name labels, and if the name is too long —in it's normal or bold versions— it would be "ellipsized".
Please note also that this patch should be applied after the steps I've just sent by e-mail to recover faces tool in master.
