I think it would probably be better if photo titles never overlapped the actual printed photos. A user may want to frame or otherwise use the printed image, and so I think we'd rather always print photo titles below the printed images with no overlap.

To clarify a bit: today, printed photo titles often overlap photo images. To see this, for example, print two landscape-oriented photos including titles on a single page. As mentioned above, we'd prefer that printed titles never overlap the printed images.
