change 'Publish' to 'Share'

Instead of allowing me to 'publish' to facebook/picasa/whatever allow me to 'share' on available services.
I hear sharing is all the rage with the kids these days.

I'm not sure I understand the distinction you're making here. Do you mean we should simply change the menus and tool buttons to say “Shareâ€, or do you mean a functionality change (as in synchronizing with albums on online services)? Or something else?

The term “share†may be in vogue, but I think the term “publish†is clearer here since it implies uploading to a server, which is what this button does. "share" is vaguer: when I hear that word, I ask: does that mean file sharing? peer-to-peer sharing? Is it bidirectional?
So I'm marking this wontfix. If you feel strongly that the word “share†would be better, feel free to share your suggestion on the mailing list to see how others feel.
