GNOME Shell always asks to allow ssh-askpass to inhibit shortcuts
Affected version
- Passwords and Keys (Seahorse) version: 42.0
- Application provider: distribution
- Related info: NixOS 22.05
Steps to reproduce
- Run
$SSH_ASKPASS
(/nix/store/qaplg5nh1fini4aifg59ign9g0vyzzyv-seahorse-42.0/libexec/seahorse/ssh-askpass
on my system). - Allow inhibiting shortcuts.
- Close window in any way.
- Open
$SSH_ASKPASS
again.
Current behavior
"Allow inhibiting shortcuts" dialog shown again:
Expected behavior
Choice for allowing inhibiting shortcuts is remembered (it is implemented in gnome-shell!382 (merged)).
Additional information
Looks like this issue appeared after switching to Wayland. Poking around in Looking Glass shows that Shell Window Tracker thinks that window app is window backed, so permission store is not used. Probably window should be attached to Seahorse somehow?
