There is no config option for listing Videos using their filename but not metadata
I've tried to share some Videos from my home computer to TV using DLNA to watch the series on the big screen. Enabled the media sharing in GNOME Settings and found out that Rygel listing them by some metadata entry, which is not always accurate. I don't even know what it is and how to change it. I can't find it anywhere, not by using VLC (tried to find in metadata tab of properties), not by watching "Properties" in Totem. But it's there! And it's describing the name of the series...
The problem is it's not always describing the episode number and season number, making the list of the files a complete mess where you can't find the needed episode. Only if you will randomly poke around. And the sort order is not predictable too. In VLC it's a total random. My TV can distinguish files by their creation time.
I had tried disabling extract-metadata and virtual-folders in MediaExport section and cleaning cache db. Doesn't help.
It's seems like GNOME Settings doesn't want to allow tracker plugin to do it's job, so I haven't tested with tracker plugin.
I think that it's something Rygel-specific, because my Zyxel router have the capability to share media from connected external media using minidlna. And I never had a problem like this while I used it. Files was listed by their filename, always.
I use Rygel 0.36.1 on Fedora 28 (Silverblue)
