Description
A useful feature would be for rhythmbox to accept archived (.zip, .rar, etc.) audio as valid input. In other words, play music contained within a compressed file without decompressing it. Why have such a feature ? There are albums that are distributed in zip or rar files, and it would just be easier (?) if rhythmbox imported the files directly (it's basically the same idea behind zipped comic book readers). Why just not extract the content to a folder ? A good question, and another good question would be: "Why just not browse thru the filesystem when wanting to play a song, instead of having a audio library in rhythmbox?" The answear is the same to both questions, because it's just more practical not having to do those things.
