Tag editing AAC/M4A files damages them
After an AAC/M4A file (i.e., produced by iTunes) has tags edited by RhythmBox 3.4.3, that file becomes damaged and will not stream correctly over DAAP to a Roku Soundbridge. The Soundbridge shows a "Preparing to play…" message and hangs there. If left alone it may—after several minutes—recover and play the file, but otherwise has to be rebooted. Editing a MP3 file did not cause this problem. AAC files edited with other programs (EasyTAG and Kid3) were not damaged in this way. However, those programs did not fix a file already damaged by RhythmBox.
