Configure requires gobject-introspection-1.0 but 1.58 is installed
On Ubuntu I have gobject-introspection/cosmic,now 1.58.0-1 amd64 [installed]
$ g-ir-scanner --version
g-ir-scanner 1.58.0
$ apt show gobject-introspection | grep Version
Version: 1.58.0-1
$ ./autogen.sh
[...]
checking for gobject-introspection... configure: error: gobject-introspection-1.0 is not installed
There are no gobject-introspection1
, -1.0
, -dev
, or -dbg
packages available, gobject-introspection
is the only Ubuntu package with a similar name or purpose.
Completely removing all (4) references to gobject-introspection
from configure.ac
allows configure
to continue executing. Perhaps this is a problem with my pkg-config
or autoconf
?
