Some glaring issues I have with the latest Rhythmbox (Ubuntu 16.04)

Description
Hello,
I just recently installed Ubuntu 16.04 fresh, coming from Ubuntu 12.04. Unfortunately, I find Rhythmbox 3.3 to be a significant downgrade from that which came with Ubuntu 12.04.
I'm having difficulty with the way Rhythmbox 3.3 imports music from your computer. I'm experiencing an issue where Rhythmbox isn't finding the first two songs in one of my albums, and I can't even do 'Open With > Rhythmbox' on the song file on my hard disk any longer (nothing happens). I've tried closing/reopening Rhythmbox, and even rebooting my computer. I preferred it much better when you could manually import song files or even full album folders from your file system. I never encountered any problems or bugs like these when doing it this way.
Additionally, when you do manage to successfully import an album of songs, your songs are ordered from last to first in Rhythmbox by default, and there seems to be no way to reverse the order without putting them into a playlist, and manually re-sorting them yourself. This is a step backwards from Ubuntu 12.04's Rhythmbox.
This point should maybe be reserved for its own bug, but I'm including it with this report for simplicity. I find the general UI organization of the new Rhythmbox to be confusing and frustrating. Under 'Library > Music,' I would expect to find a list of all of the songs I have ever imported into Rhythmbox. Instead, it shows me a(n incomplete) list of songs on my file system I haven't yet imported into Rhythmbox. I can't for the life of me seem to find a place in the program that just lists all of my songs I've imported into Rhythmbox, and I'd really just like to see this. From there, I can organize them into playlists by album.
There also seem to be difficulties resizing the window sometimes after you maximize them.
I'm sorry I had to come here with all of this negative feedback. I really liked Rhythmbox before, because it just worked like I expected it to, without any frills. I believe in free and open-source software and Rhythmbox. I realize this was an attempt to evolve it into a smarter application, but unfortunately I feel like it's a noticeable regression. I hope I'll either learn to use it effectively for my needs, or that comments like mine will get through.
Thank you for reading.
