Description
Hello, today I noticed that when I copy music from rhythmbox to an iPod it gets converted in MP3. My library is made mostly of flac and alac files. The iPod doesn't read flac, but it does read alac, which is now an open source format supported by ffmpeg. It would be great to be able to choose in which format rhythmbox should convert songs before syncing, and it would be even greater to be able to choose the output format based on the original one, eg: It's an mp3, it's copied as it is; idem with an alac. It's a flac/wav? Encode it in alac, ecc
It would be appreciable if rhythmbox didn't duplicate songs when copying the same file multiple times (by mistake).
The last thing, rhythmbox crashes if the iPod is disconnected while it's syncing
