Interaction with the clipboard in Wayland environment
Hello,
First of all, I would like to thank you for that project - it's really convinient in usage and pretty well documented.
At the moment, I'm trying to make my application work in Wayland environment (Sway, to be precise). The problem is if I use the same approach I used in X11 which can basically be described by the following code snippet:
import gi
gi.require_version('Gtk', '3.0')
from gi.repository import Gtk, Gdk
cb = Gtk.Clipboard.get(Gdk.SELECTION_CLIPBOARD)
contents = cb.wait_for_text()
I get absolutely nothing. According to the GTK documentation, it supports Wayland including clipboard interaction.
My question is: is it implemented in pygobject? If yes, then how do I need to change the code to be able to read the clipboard? If not, would it be possible to add that and are there any expectations on adding the feature?
Thanks!
