The GConf migration is migrated as well, so new installs from a future release will migrate correctly from any GConf times when gsettings-data-convert. However there is no migration from the org.gnome namespace in GSettings, so settings will be lost for those that have ran git versions between initial GSettings migration and now. This shouldn't be a big loss, however if desired, a migration from old GConf settings can be triggered by removing `planner.convert;` from the `~/.local/share/gsettings-data-convert` file (don't remove others or other apps might reset their settings back to GConf times as well).
