Better visual representation of transitions in the timeline canvas

The current implementation of transitions simply shows a thin rectangle above the clips whose overlapping parts form a transition.
This is not the best way to represent it because:
- it is not obvious to the user that this means there is a transition going on
- the current implementation makes it nearly impossible to edit the curves that happen during that transition
Attached is a mockup of what I'd like to see instead. Not only is it prettier and a bit more informative, but it also gives additional information (such as the duration of the transition in seconds) and it allows the user to manipulate the keyframes on the boundaries of the transition (if we want to allow that kind of thing).
It could even allow the user, in the case of crossfades, to have a custom curve for transitions (but I'm not sure this is really something that is needed).
Eventually, when we have poney-shaped transitions (bug T2459), the user could simply drag and drop a transition onto this "crossfading/transition area".
