Sound disappears at small gaps

Description
Sometimes the sound of a audio/video track does not work if there is a very small (~1 frame) gap between the two tracks of the same input video (with another audio/video track playing at the same time). The second gap does not work.
Steps to reproduce:
- Insert Video with audio track
- Optionally (we did it because of bug #T2521): Insert another video and audio track underneath
- Cut the video at some place
- Move the second piece of the cut video a slight bit to the back (about 1 frame)
- playback the video starting a couple of seconds bevore the cut/gap
After the gap, the audio disappears. When rendering the project it just stops at that point.
