Selection Overlay bug

Description

Hello Pitivi Developer Team!

I'm running Linux Manjaro with Pitivi 0.95-3 on my Laptop. (using newest proprietary graphics drivers: nvidia bumblebee)

When I select a video stripe in Pitivi, the whole stripe gets coverd by a green overlay. However, when I boxselect two stripes at the same time, the light green highlight works correctly. It also works if I hit play, then it also looks like it's supposed to.
Here is a screen recording so you can see, what I'm talking about:

Additionally I think it would be cool, if boxselecting does not change the timecursor. It's a bit annoying when the preview always jumps just because you wanted to select two stripes in order to move both of them.

Thanks for working on Pitivi! You are doing a great job and I really enjoyed reading your last blogpost with the epic final fantasy music turned on! :) Keep it up!!
Johannes
