Please install ocrfeeder icon properly according to FreeDesktop Icon Theme Specification
Dear ocrfeeder developers,
Greetings from a random Debian Developer here. I came across this software by accident and found that ocrfeeder did not install its application icon into the correct location so that the "OCRFeeder" App in Desktop Environments' App launcher will not use its icon and fallback to an ugly default icon.
I'm suggesting a patch to have the icon installed into the correct place. According to FreeDesktop's Icon Theme Specification (https://specifications.freedesktop.org/icon-theme-spec/icon-theme-spec-latest.html), upstream developers should install an icon into
/usr/share/icons/ under the
As a result, could you please install
/usr/share/icons/hicolor/scalable/apps/? This would help to make ocrfeeder patch-free in Debian and other Linux distributions.
(I know that the icon is already present in
/usr/share/ocrfeeder/icons/. Maybe some kind of tweaks would be needed, like installing
/usr/share/icons/hicolor/scalable/apps/org.gnome.OCRFeeder.svg as a symbolic link to
/usr/share/ocrfeeder/icons/org.gnome.OCRFeeder.svg, which is still acceptable.)
