Export and save not working
I installed the OCRFeeder "complete OCR suite" in the Kubutnu Discover software center, which pulls version 0.8.1-4 from the ubuntu-bionic-universe. I thought it was nice because it's a complete solution already configured with four OCR engines and ready to use. It still has some bugs though. I first tried to recognize a 100 .jpg document, but was unable to do so because it would crash after recognizing about 35 pages. So I split the document up into 4 folders of 25 images each. I successfully recognized this first set of pages. I spent about 8 hours correcting the OCR errors in the document, and I clicked "Save" after correcting each page. I only had trouble with one page that would not load, but I figured I would just do it separately later. But when I went to export the corrected recognized text, it would not output a simple text file or an .odt file. After several retries on a text export, I thought maybe the .odt would work, but when I tried .odt, the program crashed. When I relaunched the program, I went to load my saved OCR project to try to continue the work, but I found that all my "Saves" never saved anything. Or is there a default output folder that I can look for? If so, I would very much appreciate it so I don't lose the work I've already done. It's definitely not in the document folder I was working on, nor the Home Documents folder. Let me know if you need any logs. Thanks.
