Sidebar ransomly stops working after some time

Steps to reproduce

  1. I don't know what causes it. It only happens randomly and not after a new restart.
  2. It can be worked around by closing all nautilus windows and open a new one. Then everything works as expected.

Reproducible in:

As it only happens randomly, I cannot really test it.

My version is: Fedora 28, Nautilus 3.28.1-stable

Current behavior

Sometimes, when I used Nautilus for some time, the left pane (i.e. "Last used", "Downloads" and so on) get's disfunctional, i.e. it does react when you click on it (highlights/selects the item), but Nautilus itself does not change the directory. Note that in contrast to the left pane, the top folder "address bar" works as expected and everything else, too.

Expected behavior

It should stay functional.
