Search UI does not indicate why a document appears in full text search if the searched string is only in the metadata
Steps to reproduce
- create a PDF document with metadata set (eg. with LibreOffice file->properties->description->title). Let's set the title field to "THISISATESTSTRING"
- save the PDF as foobar (the PDF should not contain the string "THISISATESTSTRING")
- now tracker should have indexed the new file
- search in nautilus for "THISISATESTSTRING". The file "foobar" will be listed
The file "foobar" will be listed. This is the correct behavior. But it is not clear why it is listed. Maybe there should some sort of symbol attached to the file so it is clear that it is listed because of its metadata?
It is clear why the file is listed.
@csoriano asked me to fill this as a bug report. Personally I don't care to much if it is visually understandable why this file is listed.
