Opening unavailable remote locations via CLI displays window with broken UI
-
nautilus 'file:///nonexistent'
,nautilus '/nonexistent'
,nautilus 'sftp://example.invalid'
don't show a window; the commmand exits/completes/crashes after ~ 5 seconds. -
nautilus 'sftp://example.com'
causes it to show a window but with the header bar missing the path bar and with the menus/buttons only partially populated (and eventually it crashes, presumably when the connection attempt times out). Switching to a different location via the sidebar before it crashes causes it to behave normally again.
This is a regression vs. 3.26.
Manually entering the unavailable/non-existent locations in the path bar directly works as expected.
Edit: -w
parameter isn't relevant; removed from examples.
