No way to fix broken remote bookmark on server-side change
The old bookmarks editor dialog is entirely gone, but there's a feature I'm missing from it.
I use Nautilus a lot for connecting to FTP/SFTP servers (I suck at remembering IP addresses and exotic usernames that are not mine), and sometimes the server address or username change. However, the sidebar bookmarks' contextual menu only lets me rename/reorder/delete.
If I put a bookmark there it's because I don't know the IP address of that server etc. and that writing it on a post-it note to re-connect to it to "create a new bookmark and then delete the previous bookmark" is completely overkill and not really a pleasant experience for users.
So in an ideal world, when right-clicking a bookmark, instead of the "Rename" action I would have an "Edit..." action that brings up a popover widget like that has two GtkEntry fields:
/--------------------------------------------------------------------\
| Bookmark name: [ the current name ] |
< Location: [ sftp://bob5656@58.88.33.11:3323/foo/bar/baz/ ] |
| ( Cancel ) ( Save ) |
\--------------------------------------------------------------------/
...so that I can edit not just the name, but also the URI itself to have the correct user and IP/server.
