Shift+Delete confirmation request requires Shift key to be lifted in Nautilus
Affected version
- Other: Nautilus 3.35.90 on Xubuntu Fossa
Steps to reproduce
- Press Shift+Delete on a file in Nautilus
- Put your finger from Delete to Return to confirm the deletion without lifting the Shift key.
Current behavior
No confirmation.
Expected behavior
Shift+Enter should confirm like it's the case in KDE, Windows and MacOS(X) since decades. They all ignore the pressed Shift key and only care that the Enter key is pressed.
Additional information
Thunar in XFCE suffers from the same bug. I was told to open a report against Nautilus as well to hear what the GNOME devs think about this.

It might look like a minor issue and you could argue that basically every other desktop environment is theoretically wrong and should only accept a pure Enter-keypress. But when you're used to this (admittedly lazy) routine on KDE/Windows/MacOSX for decades where a pushed Shift key doesn't matter, having to lift Shift everytime is somewhat odd and hard to adapt.
