desktop files on the ~/Desktop is not getting marked as trusted from command line without a refresh in the UI
Any new .desktop file on the ~/Desktop is not getting marked as trusted from the command line without a refresh in the UI.
For example the following two command will mark a .desktop file on any other directory as trusted.
$ gio set filename.desktop metadata::trusted yes
$ chmod +x filename.desktop
For a .desktop file on the ~/Desktop
directory, one has to press F5 to refresh, and that shows the trusted icon and text on the .desktop file.
Nautilus version:: 3.22.3
Related code in Nautilus can be found here, this makes "the double click and mark as trusted" working on the desktop.
