Unable to delete files

Steps to reproduce

1.delete a file in application files

Reproducible in:

Flatpak unstable
Other: Ubuntu 18.04 LTS, Gnome on Wayland, Files 3.26.3

Current behavior

Filename can't be put in the trash. Do you want to delete it immediately?

Expected behavior

File be moved in to the trash.

Additional information

I've confirmed that I am the owner of ./local/share/Trash. I've tried to delete the Trash directory. This may have caused bug in variety: https://bugs.launchpad.net/variety/+bug/1768286 though I'm not sure why they say they've got a fix.
