Sidebar inaccesible when swiped away with a touch screen
Affected Version
- Version: 46
- Distribution: Fedora 40
- Also happens with development version: Yes
Steps to reproduce
- Use a device with a touchscreen.
- Open nautilus in a window size where the sidebar is not normally collapsed.
- Swipe from the right side of the sidebar to the left.
Expected Behavior
I don't even know if something is expected to happen or if this is some sort of side effect, but if the sidebar was intended to be hidable like that, it should be possible to do with a mouse and keyboard and there should be an actual way to restore it.
Actual Behavior
The sidebar is hidden with seemingly no way to restore it. The only way is to make the window smaller, to the size that it's normally hidden in, then make it bigger again.
Additional Information
The sidebar's behavior seems similar to when it's swiped away in the small window view, so I would assume it's an oversight from that.

(You also see an instance of #3388 while I'm trying to open the sidebar again.)
