Banner "Only searching the current folder" does not disappear when clicking "clear" icon to dismiss search

Steps to reproduce

1. Set the preference "Search in Subfolders" to "Never"
2. Type a few characters on a page so the search feature appears
3. Note the appearance of the blue "Only searching the current folder" item
4. Click the "clear" icon by the text box to dismiss the search. (you must do it this way instead of using ESC or the back button)

Current behavior

The blue "Only Searching the current folder" banner does not disappear and remains visible until you open another search and dismiss with ESC.

Expected behavior

The blue banner disappears upon clicking the "clear" icon.
